#ChileAwoke

It has been almost two months since October 18th, the day that chilean people decided to take the streets and complain about the development of the country after 30 years of returning to democracy. This 60 days had been a long journey where we seen poping up all kind of emotions in all of us. This revolt has make the people closer, conecting in levels that we never expected with unreleated individuals, taking care not only of our family and friends but also strangers who suport the cause. Yesterday, december 15th, was the last day of the citizen enquiry answered by a lot of districts all along  the country, it was a sort of a test in order to build a new Chilean constitution.

On the other hand, the nation has lost a lot and suffer a endless state repression, every sinlge day the police force has violated the Human Rights of the protester.  Thus the use of fire weapon, teargas and chemical water use towards the chilean people in order to restore the law enforcement and the "normality".  Besides the removall of the ex minister Andres Chadwick didn´t get a fair punishment for his actions as a burocratic member of the state, like being responsable of the unorthodox actions of the police at the beginning of the revolt. Also, the constitutional accusation over the president Sebastian PiƱera was deny by the parlament  and the  "New Constitution" it is still a promise, so there are many reasons to go on with the rebellion.

Looking forward the "awake" of the people claiming dignity has changed not only the conscious and the awareness of the citizens but also the essence of the capital and big citys sceneries, especially at the downton area where it seems the art and the violence converge day after day, creating a new form of liberty and expressionism. This new "landscape" shows the beauty of demanding justice, incorporing  mess and destruction to be heard. We, as a society, can not assume the destruction of buildings and spray paintings as vandalism, it is more complicated than that. The protestants send a messege of change and dignified future to every chilean in the world, we are not at war and we expect nothing but justice for all of us.
