Anais Villegas Bravo is a Chilean Bio-anthropologist graduated of the
University of Chile. She is a specialized social scientist in the Ethology of the human behavior. Her work focuses specifically on the research of the human anatomy and
physiology , adding also the understanding of the mental growth and
improvement of the athletes. Most of her research and work has made her
travel around the world, wich allowed her analyzed the capacity and cognitive development of the
human body, specifically at the pro-athletes type of body and manifestation in order
to build a structure field at the Anthropology of Sport in Chile. She worked with several profesional athletes at the Chilean Olimpics Committe (COCH). Anais is
recently finished a PhD of the development of Nutrition and Sports in the
medical department at Catholic University of Chile. In her free time she enjoys
to read, playing all types of sports and take long walks with her dog. In the
future she hopes that this subdiciplin could be a stable field in the Anthropology specialized
in human activities where this issue could have the importance that should considering the contribution that already made to the human society.
It has been almost two months since October 18th, the day that chilean people decided to take the streets and complain about the development of the country after 30 years of returning to democracy. This 60 days had been a long journey where we seen poping up all kind of emotions in all of us. This revolt has make the people closer, conecting in levels that we never expected with unreleated individuals, taking care not only of our family and friends but also strangers who suport the cause. Yesterday, december 15th, was the last day of the citizen enquiry answered by a lot of districts all along the country, it was a sort of a test in order to build a new Chilean constitution. On the other hand, the nation has lost a lot and suffer a endless state repression, every sinlge day the police force has violated the Human Rights of the protester.
